Prayer Letter Update for Corn

June 16, 2017
Dear Fellow laborers in Christ,

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?
Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8

As always, I pray this report will found you all well, by grace of the Lord Jesus. This just a short report about the maize we purchased. We were blessed and able to get all the 100 bags of maize we needed and prayed for. God has been faithful to us and blessed us bountifully.  Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.  I know we have been blessed with more that we prayed for, please know it will be used when the need becomes greater in the future. The churches thank you for your tender hearts and response to the need.
We have been busy treating the maze with weevil’s poison and we stored it. The poison is not harmful to peoples if allowed to dry for a period of time. As you see in the pictures we had to dump out all the bags and then apply the treatment, re-bag and store

I have so many times to give praise to God for the lorry, it has made many things possible like food for the body and food for the soul. God is great.
Thank you very much for all the contribution to make this happen God will bless you much.
Once again Thank you and God bless.

June 4th News

June 4, 2017

Dear family, friends and supporters,

May this short report find you in God’s grace and blessings. He has taken wonderful care of his children here in Malawi. I send it with a little sorrow and great joy.

I am sorry for taking little longer before I update you about the Maize this has happen because I have been so much busy for the work in this past two weeks.  We had two funerals in two different village’s. One a mother of 3 children died and second, a father of 4 died in another village so it was a busy week, I preached in these funerals and many people raise their hand to ask Jesus to be their savior. There is much expense for these funerals but the church was able to help the families.  If I learned anything while Grace and I were visiting you all in America I learned you have many things that are taken care of by many people and even hard things are made easy. God has blessed you mightily. I am sending pictures.

We thank everyone very much for we able to buy 100 bags of Maize in time before the price went up. We will be bringing the Maize this week from the north where we purchased and paid to have it bagged and set together ready to load. I thank God for the lorry. It has made a great ease in our work. I give my thanks to all the people who put a hand on it and support us in this time of need, (pictures soon) We will be starting the finishing work on Mbulumbuzi church getting ready for dedication in September, the church in Mbulumbuzi are still growing and people are very excited for Pastor Wright and the men to come and dedicate the building in September. It is our plan, as we named the church in Njuli Bible Way Baptist Church, we will be naming the church in Mbulumbuzi Sand Hill Baptist Church. We will continue to work with the church in Palombe getting it ready for the team from America to accept the gifting of the building and the portion of land around the building. We will be calling it the Seminole Baptist Church. It needs much work done on the roof. It has a very bad roof now made from grass that lets in much rain and sun depending. The ministry does not have the cost to fix it at this time, God will provide.

Our soul winning teams are back on duty now as we are out in rain season and our plan is to reach more areas with the gospel, it is a blessing to have a truck for this Ministry.

I have more to report about the work and will write later as time permits. Sometimes I can’t send if I want. We have no Escom and I must wait.
